Church music and concert discipline organ

The church musician Ann-Helena Schlüter is a studied concert pianist, musicologist and award winner, concert exam piano with Bernd Glemser at the HfM Würzburg. She is a composer, lyricist and author.

  • 2022 Training and studies at the Institute for Church Music and Musicology at the University of the Hanseatic City of Greifswald, Pomerania (for diploma B-certificate church musician, upgraded to 5th S. alongside international concert activity).

The pianist began her artistic organ studies in 2017. She was upgraded up to 6 semesters in all courses of study. Some subjects, she studied in parallel. She also studied privately with Hans-Ola Ericsson. Her other subjects were orchestral conducting (Frank Löhr, Ari Rasilainen), harpsichord and clavichord (Menno van Delft), choral conducting (Frank Dittmer), liturgical organ playing (Jan Ernst, Reiner Gaar, Johannes Gebhardt), singing and composition. 

She received her first organ lessons at the Thomaskirche in Leipzig. She is a Protestant, ecumenical and religious artist. Master classes in organ with Daniel Roth, Olivier Latry, Naij Hakim and Hans-Ola Ericsson, among others, and in choral conducting with Wolfgang Schäfer.

Composer of church music

She composes spiritual songs, new hymns, organ works, new music, piano concertos and orchestral works. She publishes choral works and new sacred songs. Her publishers include Heinrichshofen, Merseburg, PAN, Furore, audite, Hänssler Classic. She has played at least 1700 concerts since her childhood until today.

She founded Orgel Vlog AHS, Organ Tutoring and Bach Tutoring and was awarded many (international) performance scholarships.

Ann-Helena Schlüter is a church musician and music teacher who teaches Bach’s music to young ears. She studied musicology and music education as double main study at the universities of Würzburg, Leipzig and Salzburg, Mozarteum.
