Der Herr hat Gro\u00dfes mir getan. (\u00c4milie Juliane von Schwarzburg, 1699)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n

Heute spielte ich die sehr sch\u00f6ne Schuke-Orgel in der Predigerkirche in Erfurt. Fabelhafter Klang. Leuchtende Akustik. 3 M. Und ein sehr sch\u00f6ner, welliger, m\u00e4chtiger Prospekt, 1648 Ludwig Compenius. Fr\u00fcher, 1899, war sie eine Walcker Orgel. H\u00e4tte mich auch sehr interessiert. Dann nun 1977 Neubau Schuke. Sehr anders als die Schuke im Dom Erfurt. Schuke Potsdam ist oft sehr unterschiedlich, wie Tag und Nacht. Das mag ich. Sehr kreativ und individuell. Es ist eben auch eine Compenius-Walcker-Schuke.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich dachte im ICE dar\u00fcber nach, was \u201eneobarocke Orgel\u201c eigentlich hei\u00dfen soll. Nach dem Motto: \u201eWhat is in a name?\u201c Dieser Begriff \u201eneobarock\u201c ist irgendwie abstrus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wenn jemand nur auf die Disposition schaut, k\u00f6nnte man gewisse Instrumente schnell \u201eneobarock\u201c nennen. Man darf nicht vergessen, da\u00df kein Orgelbauer damals Schleifladen gebaut hat, au\u00dfer allenfalls Alfred F\u00fchrer und Paul Ott, die gerade angefangen hatten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man k\u00f6nnte genauso gut und weiter \u00fcberlegen, ob denn Orgeln ohne original gestaltete Windanlage (also mehrere Keilb\u00e4lge) \u00fcberhaupt \u201ebarock\u201c genannt werden sollten. Man hat so Instrumente, etwa Rysum und Westerhusen, die als besonders gut restauriert und \u201ebarock\u201c gelten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In einem n\u00e4chsten Schritt mag man \u00fcberlegen, ob nicht Barockorgeln auch mit handgeschmiedeten N\u00e4geln daher kommen sollten, anstatt der heute bei Restaurierungen verwendeten Schrauben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Frage ist also, wie weit man bei der Charakterisierung eines \u201eneobarocken\u201c Instruments gehen m\u00f6chte, ob man also Schweller und Walzen genau wie moderne Windanlagen und Schrauben einbezieht. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die damalige (1938) orgelbewegte Umorientierung bezog sich offenbar vor allem auf die Disposition und die Intonation. Es h\u00e4tte aber vor allem der historisch orientierte Pfeifenbau im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtung stehen sollen, dann die Intonation, dann erst die Disposition. Das war aber nie der Fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O tempora, o mores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr mich sind Orgeln mit Schweller und Walze nicht \u201eneobarock\u201c. Siehe Weigle Orgel Markuskirche Mannheim. Mit \u201eneobarock\u201c werden allgemein sicherlich die Disposition und Intonation einer Orgel gemeint sein, also wenige Grundstimmen, vergleichsweise viele Aliquoten, niedrige Aufschnitte, niedriger Winddruck. Vielleicht sieht eine jeweilige Orgel auch irgendwie \u201eneobarock\u201c aus, indem sie z. B. dem \u201eWerkprinzip\u201c folgt, also baulich getrennte Werke zeigt. (\u201eNeobarocke\u201c Produkte waren \u00fcbrigens ab den ca. fr\u00fchen 70er Jahren negativ konnotiert.) F\u00fcr mich ist die elektro-pneumatische Kegelladen Orgel-Weigle in Mannheim keine neobarocke Orgel. F\u00fcr mich kann eine Orgel mit Walze und Schweller etc. nicht neobarock sein.
