Leonard Bernstein Young People’s Concerts\u00a0<\/h4>\n

Ich bin begeistert, wie Leonard Bernstein die Young People’s Concerts<\/em>\u00a01958 durchgef\u00fchrt hat. Was ist sein Geheimnis? Er will die Furcht und Scheu vor Klassik nehmen. Das gelingt ihm mit seinem Charme. Er erreicht Kinder, Eltern, Akademiker. Er gibt ihnen das Gef\u00fchl, Experten zu werden. Ich habe \u00a0nun viele DVD-Boxen von ihm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Er ist sehr relaxed, freundlich, unkompliziert, amerikanisch, hat die H\u00e4nde in den Hosentaschen, wirkt jung und sehr selbstbewusst. Manchmal macht er sogar auf sch\u00fcchtern. Er bringt Witze, aber nicht ausgedachte, eher aus dem Bauch heraus, wobei er selbst nie lacht, und macht sich auch \u00fcber sich selbst lustig. Das wirkt sehr l\u00e4ssig. Er scheint sogar das Orchester zu am\u00fcsieren. Er WILL die Kids und Leute begeistern. Das ist sein Ziel. Er tut dies t\u00e4nzerisch und clever. Er singt, jazzt, imitiert, erkl\u00e4rt, spielt Cembalo, Fl\u00fcgel, dirigiert, komponiert, vermittelt, lehrt, entertaint und spielt, und ist immer am Unterhalten.<\/p>\n

Das er alles so easy beherrscht, nicht fixiert ist auf eine Sache, macht ihn interessant. Von wegen: “Konzentriere dich auf eines!”<\/p>\n

Er erkl\u00e4rt in wenigen Sekunden Kadenz, Concerto, Moll, Harfe, Fuge. Man will nichts verpassen. Es ist einfach sehr “sexy”, wie er komplizierte Dinge einfach macht.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alle tanzen nach seiner Pfeife, dabei wirkt er wie ein gro\u00dfer Junge. Was mir gef\u00e4llt ist, dass er wirklich simpel und mit Herzblut schwierige Themen Kindern und Jugendlichen erkl\u00e4rt, sogar, dass Erwachsene etwas davon haben, die das erste Mal davon h\u00f6ren. “Aha, stimmt, so schwer ist das alles ja gar nicht.”<\/p>\n

Und das bei so schwierigen Themen wie “Orchestrierung” oder “Sinn von Musik” und “Was ist klassische Musik”?<\/p>\n

Das phantastische Orchester ist wie sein Spielzeug. Es geht ihm dabei nicht unbedingt um seine Interpretation oder Werbung f\u00fcr sich, sondern er erkl\u00e4rt ausf\u00fchrlich und mit Struktur – wobei er stets v\u00f6llig frei und authentisch redet. Es wirkt fast ohne Konzept, etwas zerstreut, als w\u00fcrde er frei improvisieren, aber nein, alles hat Struktur und Konzept. Er geht dabei so energetisch vor, dass es nie Langweile gibt. Dabei l\u00e4sst er das Orchester immer gut dastehen.<\/p>\n

Er hustet, r\u00e4uspert sich, redet schnell, als w\u00fcrde er Verwandten oder Nachbarn etwas erkl\u00e4ren, stellt Noten vor, Instrumente, Komponisten, fast in rasender Fahrt. Man sitzt in einem Roller-Coaster. Dabei aber hat er eine sehr energische, begeisterte, klare, autorit\u00e4r-freundliche, leicht ironische, leicht eitle Stimme, die aber wirklich etwas vermitteln m\u00f6chte. Er vermittelt Begeisterung.<\/p>\n

Und er ist sich nicht zu schade, “Babytalk” zu reden oder etwas spontan vorzuspielen. Es wirkt spontan<\/em>. Besonders wichtig ist es ihm, nie zu langweilen. Er lobt klassische Musik ununterbrochen und kann damit ja nur Liebe zur Klassik vermitteln. Sein Ziel ist\/war, Perfektion und Sch\u00f6nheit in Musik zu erwarten, zu erkennen, zu h\u00f6ren und zu lieben – auf eine ganz unkomplizierte Art und Weise. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Es braucht dringend Musikvermittler*innen in Deutschland.\u00a0<\/p>\n
