Philippinen<\/h4>\n

Heute zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck gab es Guava (in der Sprache hier rund um Manila, die Tagalog genannt wird, heisst Guava Bayabas) und die saure Frucht Santol, man isst hier viele saure Fr\u00fcchte mit Salz oder Zucker. Sogar Avocado wird hier mit Milch und Zucker gegessen! Pakwan, die Wassermelone, ist gelb, schmeckt aber wie unsere rote, sogar noch s\u00fcsser. Ich schreibe gerade mit meinem eigenen macbook. Reis wird ununterbrochen gegessen, auch zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck, auch Suppe, wie z.B. die Misua Suppe mit Reisnudeln.<\/p>\n

Manila wird hier wie Manilla gesprochen, und Tagalog wird auf dem zweiten a betont, das letzte g nicht gesprochen. Gestern war trotz Rainy Season ein wundersch\u00f6n sonniger Tag, wir besuchten den tropischen Park La Mesa Dam Ecopark mit tropischen Riesenb\u00e4umen, Tamarindenb\u00e4ume und Dattelb\u00e4ume und Pflanzen, Seen und einem Damm, von dem die ganze Gegend versorgt wird. Die stachelige gr\u00fcne Frucht, die aussieht wie ein Kaktus, heisst Guyabano, und die Cousine von den Litschis ist die haarige Frucht Rambutan. All diese Fr\u00fcchte sind manchmal einfach am Strassenrand zu kaufen. Gestern ging ich auf dem tropischen Markt hier in Greenhills verloren, alles sah aus wie ein Labyrinth, und die Ger\u00e4uschkulisse stieg furchtbar an, aber ich wurde wiedergefunden!
